With most detail shops operating at a slower pace these days, you might be looking for a way to do some of that work on your car yourself. If your vehicle’s chrome has lost some of its shine and you want to get it back, I have a simple solution. There is a natural way of doing it with no extra cost, just simply look in your very own kitchen.
Vinegar and water are your solutions and here is what you do to shine up your car’s chrome.
- Combine equal parts (50/50) of vinegar and water to a container and mix well. You can always add more vinegar for an extra-strength solution.
- Transfer the mixed solution into a spray bottle or you can use a soft cloth to dip and wipe. Just remember to use different parts of the cloth as you go along and the chrome will pop without using any harsh chemicals.
This solution is a quick and easy way to get and keep your chrome accents shining all year long. Now, get out there and show off that shiny chrome!
