Many driver's love to add a bumper sticker to their vehicle.
However, were you aware that bumper stickers are not meant for vehicles made today?
It is true. Unless you have a chrome bumper, you should not be adding a bumper sticker to your vehicle.
Bumper stickers were created to work on chrome. Therefore, not having a chrome bumper, you risk ruining the paint on your bumper.
Even removing the bumper sticker can leave unwanted glue residue and the product to remove the residue can leave a dull finish.
If you plan on removing your bumper sticker from your paint, you may want to have a hair dryer, a sturdy plastic card, clean rags, tree sap remover and glass cleaner.
First, clean the surronding area of the bumper sticker to remove the dirt.
Next, hold the dryer a few inches from the sticker and move it around the sticker for serveral seconds, but be mindful that TOO MUCH HEAT CAN DAMAGE YOUR PAINT!
Use your plastic card to carefully remove the sticker and once it’s gone use your tree sap remover to remove exess adhesive and polish it with glass cleaner.
